“The great tragedy of life is not death, but what we allow to die inside of us, while we live.”
Meet Itanza
Itanza Saraz is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer and songwriter with a strong foundation in on-camera performance, classical training, and long-form improvisation. A native Angelino, she began performing at a young age through music, dance, and theatre, developing an early and lasting connection to storytelling and live audiences.
She trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York and has continued to deepen her craft through scene study with Joseph Pearlman and on-camera training at the Robert D’Avanzo Studio. Itanza is also a graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she completed the full improv program and currently performs on a Harold Team, Sweet Agnes. She is additionally a co-producer and performer in Friday Block Party, a monthly all-Black improv show at UCB.
Her work spans film, theatre, and comedy, with a focus on grounded, character-driven performances that balance emotional truth with sharp comedic instincts. She is currently building her on-camera reel and is actively seeking representation.
